Detroit Red Wings winger David Perron had a great time in his return to Edmonton on Wednesday, finishing a 5-4 shootout victory with two assists. The veteran winger, who spent two seasons as an Oiler early in his career, collected both of his helpers in power-play situations. Perron was also one of the scorers in the shootout, which Detroit won 2-1. The 34-year-old has been having a down year in Motown this season, going from a 0.80 points-per-game guy to a forward who averages 0.60 points per game. He only recently ended a horrible run of only three points in 16 games. For the season overall, Perron is on 14 goals and 20 assists with 53 games played.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
