David Fletcher Out With Left Shoulder Issue
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels infielder/outfielder David Fletcher (shoulder) is out of the starting lineup with a left shoulder issue on Sunday, according to manager Brad Ausmus. There isn't concern that Fletcher will land on the injured list just yet. Fletcher has been a pleasant surprise for the Halos as a super-utility player in 2019 that has become a regular player with both Zack Cozart and Andrelton Simmons injured. The 25-year-old is batting a nice .308/.363/.434 with four homers, 32 runs, 23 RBI and five stolen bases in 221 at-bats. He's become a solid addition to fantasy lineups for his modest contributions across all categories and his position versatility. Wilfredo Tovar is at the 6 and is batting eighth against Mariners starter Austin Adams on Sunday.
