3 months agoKansas City Royals pitcher Danny Duffy was nearly flawless on Wednesday against the Athletics, pitching seven scoreless innings and allowing just two hits and a walk while striking out six. Unfortunately for Duffy, the Royals gave him no run support and they eventually lost the game 1-0 in 11 innings. Duffy has had a tremendous month of September, turning in four straight quality starts while maintaining a 1.78 ERA. Due to the Royals' inept offense, he's only managed one win through the month, however. Duffy's next start is a tough one against the Braves on Tuesday, but he's been so good lately that he's worth adding and starting in just about all leagues.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
