Dalton Rushing Launches 10th Home Run Of The Season
6 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers catching prospect Dalton Rushing went 3-for-6 on Wednesday with two singles and his 10th long ball of the campaign. After posting a seven-game hitting streak earlier this month, Rushing tallied only two hits in his past six games. Hopefully, this big performance on Wednesday helps the young backstop get back on track. In 55 games this season in Double-A, the former second-round pick holds a .261/.378/.477 slash line with 42 RBI and a 29:50 BB:K. The Louisville product is on pace to set career-highs in every major batting statistic. Rushing is considered the sixth-best catching prospect in baseball on MLB Pipeline and should make his major-league debut sometime next summer.
