Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid hit 100 points for the season on Wednesday with a goal and an assist in a 4-3 shootout victory over the Kings. He grabbed his 37th goal and 63rd assist of the campaign. McDavid became the fourth player in Oilers history to record five 100-point seasons. With him still only 25 years old, McDavid seems to have a great shot at surpassing Wayne Gretzky's franchise record of nine 100-point campaigns. He might already be tied with Jari Kurri for the second-most such seasons in club history if he hadn't missed a large chunk of his rookie year with a broken collarbone. The Oilers are making a nice end-of-the-season push and McDavid is in the middle of everything, having put together an 11-game point streak that includes nine multi-point performances.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
