Calgary Flames defenseman Christopher Tanev (undisclosed) has been ruled out for two games, starting with Thursday's matchup against Chicago. He was injured in Monday's contest against Columbus and the team will keep him out of the action through the All-Star Break. Tanev does very little for fantasy managers, but he is a vital piece for the team, with the Flames having won just once in eight games without him this season. The 33-year-old is a huge presence on the defensive end and leads the team with 85 blocks in 40 games. He has also registered eight points with 40 shots and 27 hits. Connor Mackey is set to replace Tanev in the lineup.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
