Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones hinted on social media that he's willing to continue his holdout until Week 8 of the regular season because he "can afford it." It remains to be seen if Jones is just bluffing while posturing for a new long-term contract from the Chiefs. Head coach Andy Reid said Wednesday that the team hasn't had any communication with Jones, and Reid is unsure if Jones will be available for Week 1 against the Detroit Lions. The 29-year-old has one year remaining on his four-year, $80 million deal he signed in 2020. He tied his career-high with 15.5 sacks in 2022, which ranked fourth in the league and first among interior pass-rushers, so Jones is very important to KC's pass rush. The threat of a holdout is making him pretty risky in IDP leagues at the moment.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
