Chase Claypool Dealing With Turf Toe
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool (toe) said that he's been dealing with a bad case of turf toe after he was tackled with his toe flexed. Claypool didn't play in Week 10 but returned last Sunday night against the Los Angeles Chargers and caught five of his nine targets for 93 yards. He's mainly been a disappointment since JuJu Smith-Schuster suffered a season-ending injury because he has only found the end zone one time in eight games, but Claypool is the No. 2 receiver behind Diontae Johnson and he has been seeing plenty of red-zone looks from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Claypool will be on the WR3/flex map in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but the Bengals have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to the position in the last three weeks.
