Cedrick Wilson Jr. 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook: Personnel Logjam Limits Fantasy Upside
6 months agoCedrick Wilson Jr. finds himself on the move in 2024 as he heads to the New Orleans Saints; his third team in four seasons. Wilson's 2023 campaign saw him utilized as a depth piece in Miami, where he totaled 38 targets, 22 receptions, 296 receiving yards, and three touchdowns for the Dolphins in 15 games. Being stuck in a sporadic role on offense behind Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Braxton Berrios certainly limited opportunities for Wilson, who received five or more targets twice and amassed over 50 receiving yards in a game once all season. After spending his first three seasons in Dallas and the last two with the Dolphins, Wilson signed a two-year pact worth $5.75 million with the Saints during free agency in March. He looks to compete for a spot in the Saints' receiver rotation with A.T. Perry, Equanimeous St. Brown, fifth-round rookie Bub Means, and others. Wilson's ADP of WR140 and RotoBaller half-PPR rank of WR114 illustrate the bearish outlook on draft day as he's several injuries away from fantasy relevance.
