Bryce Eldridge Homers on Tuesday
Bryce Eldridge went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and a walk in Tuesday's 12-10 victory against Triple-A Salt Lake. The 20-year-old is up to three homers in 12 games now at Triple-A but still owns just a .620 OPS through 52 plate appearances. After striking out in 10 of his previous 17 at-bats, the power-hitting prospect did not strike out Tuesday night. Despite the whiffs, Eldridge is showing off his ability to hit for power with a 14.8 percent barrel rate at Triple-A. He should continue to improve as he adjusts and could be a candidate to be called up later this summer. With his power upside, he'd make for a quality add in most standard redraft formats.
