Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Brian Elliott allowed four goals on 23 shots before getting the hook during Tuesday's 6-5 shootout win over the Florida Panthers. His replacement, Calvin Pickard, did not fare much better as he allowed a goal on three shots. Eliott's record remains at 1-3-0, but he now has a bloated 4.04 GAA and .874 SV%. Michal Neuvirth (lower body) is still at least a week away from returning so Elliott could continue to be the starter for the near future. He is an untrustworthy fantasy asset that will soon be part of a platoon situation. Avoid Elliott, as there are better waiver wire options with the number of goaltending injuries that have happened in the early going.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
