New York Giants linebacker Brian Burns (foot), who is the NFL's sack leader with nine, was wearing a walking boot on his right foot in the locker room on Sunday following the team's heartbreaking 33-32 loss on the road to the Denver Broncos in Week 7, according to Connor Hughes of SNY. In the wild loss on Sunday, Burns was able to take quarterback Bo Nix down twice while adding four solo tackles and three tackles for loss. While the Giants have other strong pass-rushers, including rookie Abdul Carter and Kayvon Thibodeaux, losing Burns for an extended period of time would be a big blow to their defense. The 27-year-old Burns has played the most defensive snaps for the Giants through seven games and has been a must-start in IDP fantasy formats this year. We should know more about Burns' injury on Monday or Tuesday, but his status is certainly up in the air for a divisional rematch next Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.--Keith Hernandez
