7 months agoThe Milwaukee Brewers are talking with free-agent closer Craig Kimbrel, according to sources. Milwaukee's bullpen is already stacked with Josh Hader, Corey Knebel and Jeremy Jeffress, but Kimbrel would likely slot in as the ninth-inning man. It'd hurt Knebel's fantasy value the most. Kimbrel already has a 1.91 career ERA, 0.92 WHIP, 333 saves and a 14.7 K/9 in nine big league seasons. Although his fantasy stock has fallen some since he's still a free agent, Kimbrel would be extremely attractive as a top-end closer if he landed in Milwaukee.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
