Breece Hall Gets Into Team Drills Thursday
1 year agoFor the first time in training camp this summer, New York Jets running back Breece Hall (knee) checked into team drills on Thursday. Hall was just activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list on Tuesday, and the Jets are slowly going to ease him back into action after he tore his ACL last year. The 22-year-old and the Jets are confident he'll be ready for Week 1 of the regular season, but the team's plan is to ease Hall back in while having Dalvin Cook serve as the lead back early in the year. The Jets still see Hall as their long-term featured back after his impressive rookie campaign, but the addition of Cook in 2023 seriously complicates his fantasy value as an RB2. The Jets also have Michael Carter, Zonovan Knight and impressive rookie Israel Abanikanda.
