Brandon Woodruff Throws Seven Strong Frames in Rehab Start
Brandon Woodruff (ankle/shoulder) had his longest rehab outing yet on Wednesday, striking out six over seven innings for the High-A Timber Rattlers. He allowed one unearned run on five hits and no walks. He threw 74 pitches in the outing, which means he is set to rejoin Milwaukee's rotation in early June. That could happen as early as early next week, or a little later if they decide to give him one more rehab start on Tuesday. It's hard to dig too much into his performance considering the level of talent he was up against, but he did also pitch four scoreless innings in his previous start in Triple-A.
