Blue Jays Enamored With Francisco Lindor
4 years agoToronto Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins gave a glowing review of Cleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor on Tuesday. "I'm going to step out of the way and let you guys make some deals for us," Atkins said on MLB Network. "We think the world of that organization. We think the world of Frankie." Bo Bichette is at shortstop for Toronto, but they could move him to third base for next season if they were to acquire Lindor in a trade. ESPN's Buster Olney wrote on Wednesday that a Lindor trade "finally seems inevitable" this offseason, with the shortstop just one year away from free agency. The 27-year-old star shortstop would be in a really good spot in Toronto in a friendly hitting environment and an up-and-coming lineup with exciting young players.
