Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Blake Treinen (forearm) pitched a scoreless inning with two strikeouts on Wednesday, needing only nine pitches to get through the inning. He is scheduled to pitch again on Thursday for the Oklahoma City Comets, and if everything goes well, could rejoin the Dodgers bullpen this weekend. Pitching on back-to-back days is the final step in Treinen's rehab, so the 37-year-old should be back in the mix soon. He has been sidelined since April 13 with a right forearm sprain, but is getting healthy at a good time since Tanner Scott (elbow) just landed on the injured list. Kirby Yates and lefty Alex Vesia will continue to fill in at closer until Treinen is ready to jump back into high-leverage situations.--Zach Thompson
