Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews has picked up his first career suspension. The NHL's leading goal-scorer will have to sit out two games for cross-checking Buffalo's Rasmus Dahlin in Sunday's Heritage Classic. Matthews will miss Tuesday's clash with Dallas and Thursday's game against Carolina. He will be eligible to return to the lineup on Saturday versus Nashville. Matthews scored his 45th goal of the campaign against Buffalo and has collected 77 points across 56 outings in 2021-22. His absence could push Alexander Kerfoot into the top six.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
