Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews had a dominant individual performance as he scored three goals to give the Maple Leafs a 6-4 victory over the Kraken on Tuesday night. Matthews opened the scoring on a first period power-play less than four minutes into the game for his 41st goal, leveled the score at four apiece with a nice move on Kraken goaltender Philipp Grubauer in the third period for his 42nd goal, and finally capped off the hat-trick with an empty-netter for his 43rd goal of the campaign. Matthews leads the NHL in the goal scoring race and with his current scoring pace he is likely to finish with well over 50 goals for the first time in his career.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
