Antonio Senzatela To Make Rehab Start Tuesday
2 years agoColorado Rockies right-hander Antonio Senzatela's (knee) first minor-league rehab outing for Double-A Hartford on Sunday was rained out. He will now make his first rehab start for Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday on the road. Senzatela had surgery to fix a torn ACL in his left knee last August, and he's still working his way back for the Rockies. The 28-year-old won't be rushed back to the major leagues, so you should expect him to have at least a handful of rehab starts in the minors before Colorado is comfortable activating him from the injured list. Senzatela made 19 starts for the team in 2022, going 3-7 with a 5.07 ERA (4.05 FIP), 1.69 WHIP and career-low-tying 13.1 percent strikeout rate in 92 1/3 innings.
