After finishing 22nd at Las Vegas last week, Alex Bowman needs a better effort at Talladega this week. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver has his work cut out for him, as the superspeedway has been a mixed bag for him. He starts 11th on Sunday and does have three top-10s in his last seven races on the 2.66-mile course. The problem is two DNFs are sprinkled in there as well. There is always a risk on this track. That is why the odds are the way they are this week. One does have a better chance to survive near the front, and Bowman has the car to make headway.
