Florida Panthers center Aleksander Barkov (hand) has been ruled out for Thursday's meeting with San Jose. He hurt his hand whilst blocking a shot against Tampa Bay earlier in the week and hasn't been able to practice because of the injury. Florida head coach Paul Maurice regarded him as a game-time decision on Wednesday, but Barkov is now officially out of the game. With Barkov having gone scoreless just once in his past 12 appearances, the Panthers are going to be without a red-hot player. He will have his first opportunity to rejoin the lineup Saturday versus Colorado.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
