Albert Pujols Slugging .480 In September
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Albert Pujols will try and finish the season with a bang against the Dodgers on Friday. The numbers for the 40-year-old continue to decline, as he is posting a .689 OPS in 37 games as the future Hall of Famer is mostly a part-time player now. The 2020 season, however, will be remembered as a year where Pujols passed Willie Mays in all-time home runs and Alex Rodriguez in career RBI. Pujols is trying to finish his season on a high note, slugging .480 in the month of September and the highest OPS (.776) of any month in this shortened season. Pujols is not worth a play in fantasy but hopefully he can send one more over the fence before the season is done.
