1 year agoWith the swelling in Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Adalberto Mejia's wrist down, he will do some long tossing on Thursday and throw a bullpen session on Friday. A decision will be made after that if he can make his next start on Sunday against the Tigers. The left-hander tossed five scoreless innings against the first-place Indians earlier this week and has a 2.01 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 5.2 K/9 in five outings (four starts). The sample size is small and regression is coming with his low whiff rate, but he'd still be an attractive streamer against Detroit if he gets the clearance.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
