1 year agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Adalberto Mejia (elbow) has been diagnosed with nerve irritation in his arm, and there is no timetable for him to start rehab. With the Twins well out of playoff contention, they are content to simply rest the left-handed pitcher. The southpaw had pitched well in his five appearances (four starts), going 2-0 with a 2.01 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 13 strikeouts, even if his peripherals showed impending regression. You can probably drop him now, since there's a good chance we won't see him for the rest of the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
