Aaron Judge To Resume Hitting Friday
5 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (shoulder) threw again on Thursday and is expected to resume his hitting program on Friday while hitting in the cages and taking soft toss. The Yankees are being cautious with Judge after he came to camp with a sore right shoulder. The 6-foot-7, 282-pound slugger should be fine for Opening Day, but his health is of utmost concern after two straight years of injury shortened seasons. Judge still managed to hit .272 with a .921 OPS and 27 home runs in 2019, and he'll come off the board in the early rounds of fantasy drafts as an elite power-hitting outfielder.
