DraftKings Quarterbacks - Week 16 DFS Picks

Justin Fields - ARI @ CHI ($7,100)

Fresh off a dud against a rugged Browns defense in Week 15, Fields draws the ultimate bounce-back spot this week against the Arizona Cardinals. The Cards were picked apart by Brock Purdy and the Niners last week in a pitiful performance that's been the norm for this Arizona defensive unit. They currently stand bottom-five in the NFL in yards per attempt (7.7), completion rate (69.6%), and passing TDs (26) allowed to opposing QBs.

Last week's 11.6-point DraftKings performance in Cleveland was a reminder that Fields can be a volatile DFS producer. However, with his scary floor comes tournament-winning upside, as he's gone over 32 DK points in two of 10 starts this season and over 24 DK points on four occasions. This matchup is one in which Fields can do damage both through the air and on the ground.

Nick Mullens - DET @ MIN ($5,300)

If you are looking to save salary at the QB, Minnesota's Nick Mullens is perhaps the most intriguing pay-down option at the position. The journeyman stepped into the starting role for the Vikings last week, and though it wasn't always pretty, responded with 303 passing yards and a pair of TDs. Mullens isn't going to wow anyone with his physical tools, but he's a competent distributor of the football and Minnesota possesses some serious weapons all over the field.

Mullens draws a suddenly appealing matchup against a pass-funnel Lions defense that's started to bleed points through the air. After a strong start to the year, Detroit has slumped against opposing signal-callers over the past month, allowing a chunky 7.79 yards per attempt and an average of 24.5 DraftKings points per game to the QB position.

MORE TOP QB PLAYS: Dak Prescott ($7,900); Baker Mayfield ($6,000)

DraftKings Running Backs - Week 16 DFS Picks

Rachaad White - JAX @ TB ($7,400)

Clicking White's name never feels particularly exciting, but it sure has been effective during the second half of the season. Over his last six games, White trails only Christian McCaffrey, Kyren Williams, and James Cook in DraftKings points scored at the running back position. It's thanks in large part to his consistently elite volume out of the Bucs' backfield. In the past month, White is averaging a massive 22.6 touches per game.

In Week 16, he draws a Jags defense that has increasingly struggled as the season has progressed. Jacksonville has been torched both on the ground and through the air by enemy RBs. They've allowed 4.27 yards per carry and 6.62 yards per target to the running back position over the last four weeks.

Chuba Hubbard - GB @ CAR ($5,700)

With former Panthers head coach Frank Reich out of the picture, Hubbard has been the unquestioned lead back in the Carolina backfield. He's now toted the rock 22 or more times in three straight games, amassing 278 rushing yards and two TDs across those outings.

Sporting a legit workhorse-type workload, Hubbard will have the opportunity to smash against the Packers in Week 16. Over the past month, Green Bay has allowed the NFL's second-most rushing TDs (four) and sixth-most rushing yards (445) to the RB position.

MORE TOP RB PLAYS: Aaron Jones ($6,400); Ty Chandler ($5,600)

DraftKings Wide Receivers - Week 16 DFS Picks

Justin Jefferson - DET @ MIN ($8,100)

After suffering a chest injury in his first game back from a lengthy eight-week absence, Jefferson finally looked close to superstar form in Week 15 against the Bengals. He drew 10 targets from new starter Nick Mullens and finished with 84 receiving yards on seven catches.

As Jefferson works his way back into form and grows more comfortable with Mullens, I expect some spike outings over the last few weeks of the season. That should start this week against a Lions secondary that's been shredded by opposing alpha receivers. Detroit has allowed a massive 8.92 yards per target to opposing wideouts over the past month and has little hope of slowing down a fully healthy JJ.

Garrett Wilson - WAS @ NYJ ($5,800)

Go ahead...cue the "Lambo in the shed" meme. It's true, Garrett Wilson is a high-powered supercar trapped in a Walmart parking lot of an offense. With QB questions still lingering as the Jets trudge into Week 16, there are certainly no guarantees.

However, there's a chance that Wilson can find some open road against the Washington Commanders, a team that's been the worst pass defense in the NFL this season by almost any measure. Washington ranks dead last in the league in receiving yards (2,785) and yards per target (10.16) allowed to the WR position. While Garrett has spent much of 2023 stuck in neutral thanks to the parts around him, there's still plenty of horsepower under the hood.

MORE TOP WR PLAYS: Michael Pittman Jr. ($7,400); D.J. Moore ($6,900)

DraftKings Tight Ends - Week 16 DFS Picks

Trey McBride - ARI @ CHI ($5,700)

Sure, McBride's DraftKings price tag continues to climb, but there's still plenty of value with Week 16's $5.7k salary. The second-year pro has averaged nine targets per game since Kyler Murray returned to the Arizona lineup. With that elite volume, he's amassed 425 yards and a score across the Cardinals' last five games.

The rising star should continue to smash this week against Chicago. While the Bears' defense has been trending up in recent weeks, they still haven't cracked the code on how to stop tight ends. David Njoku destroyed them for a 10/104/1 line last week and it will be more of the same from McBride in this spot.

David Njoku - CLE @ HOU ($5,300)

Speaking of Njoku, the physical phenom has been unlocked by Joe Flacco. Since the veteran took the helm of the Browns' offense in Week 13, Njoku has been electrifying. Last week's 104-yard outing against the Bears came on the heels of a 6/91/2 effort against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

With Flacco consistently feeding him, "Chief" should have no trouble rolling against a Houston defense that's routinely had trouble with the TE position. The Texans have relinquished the league's fifth-most receiving yards (826) to tight ends this season.

MORE TOP TE PLAYS: Sam LaPorta ($6,400); Cole Kmet ($4,400)
