NFL DFS Lineup Picks For FanDuel, DraftKings - Commanders vs. Eagles Showdown (NFC Championship)

A.J. Brown - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL DFS Picks, NFL Injury News

Tonight's top NFL DFS lineup picks for DraftKings, FanDuel -- Commanders vs. Eagles Showdown slate for the NFC Championship (Jan. 26, 2024). John's NFL daily fantasy sleeper picks.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! We’ve made it to Conference Championship Weekend, and boy, do we have a fun one here. Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders (14-5) taking on division rival Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles (16-3). These two teams split their matchups in the regular season, and now square off for a rubber match to see which of these two teams will head to the Super Bowl. Let’s see how this one plays out.

Thanks to today's advanced analytics, I'll do my best to provide you with as much in-depth analysis as possible regarding positional matchups and the like to help put some lunch money in your pocket. Let's make some coin this season, gang, and get right to it.

I will provide you with daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Commanders vs. Eagles NFL DFS showdown slate on January 26. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks. MVP/Captain - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Jayden Daniels - QB, $16,500 (DK), $15,000 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 4,135 passing yards, 29 passing touchdowns, nine interceptions, 177 rushing attempts, 978 rushing yards, and six rushing touchdowns.
  • Projected Pass DVOA: 9.92%

I’ll start this slate with Jayden Daniels. I know it’s not “flashy” or “different” to opt for the two most expensive players on the slate, but why wouldn’t you? Daniels and Barkley have been the reasons these respective offenses go, and have the highest ceiling and ceiling value on this slate.

Daniels had a great showing the last time these two teams squared off, throwing for 258 yards and five touchdowns while adding another 81 yards with his legs. I think Vic Fangio’s defense will be a bit more prepared for this one, but Daniels is becoming a superstar before our very eyes so we know he’s going to get his.

My model projects Daniels to throw for 203.8 yards and 1.45 touchdowns while adding 54.14 yards and 0.26 touchdowns on the ground.

Saquon Barkley - RB, $15,900 (DK), $17,000 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 396 rushing attempts, 2,329 rushing yards, 49 targets, 39 receptions, 309 receiving yards, 17 touchdowns.
  • Projected Rush DVOA: 8.13%

I’ll flip the field and take a look at Saquon Barkley next. There’s not much that I can say about Barkley that hasn’t already been said. He’s certainly not the sole reason the Eagles are in the NFC championship, but he’s a big one. He’s logged 51 carries for 324 yards and a pair of touchdowns on the ground, while adding 31 yards on six receptions on six targets.

In this one, he projects to run the ball 22.69 times for 123.26 yards, adding two receptions on 3.43 targets for 14.76 yards and 1.01 total touchdowns.

Other Captains/MVPs: Jalen Hurts, Terry McLaurin, A.J. Brown, Dallas Goedert

Flex Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

A.J. Brown - WR, $9,800 (DK), $13,000 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 107 targets, 70 receptions, 1,103 receiving yards, seven touchdowns.
  • Opposing DVOA vs. WR1: 5.4%

I’ll stick with the Eagles offense here as we look at A.J. Brown next. Brown has had a quiet postseason, catching three of 10 targets for 24 yards. He’s dealing with a bit of a knee injury, and the combination of the slow last week and the Eagles offense primarily operating through the run game haven’t helped either. Brown did succeed against Washington this season, catching 13 of 23 targets for 162 yards in a touchdown across the two matchups.

My model projects Brown to catch 5.73 of 8.88 targets for 73.22 yards and 0.47 touchdowns.

Terry McLaurin - WR, $9,400 (DK), $12,500 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 133 targets, 93 receptions, 1,272 receiving yards, 15 touchdowns.
  • Opposing DVOA vs. WR1: 7.3%

I’ll stay on the “WR1” train here and look at Terry McLaurin next. McLaurin and Daniels have established great rapport throughout the season, and have continued the same into the playoffs. McLaurin has caught 11 of 16 targets for 176 yards and a pair of touchdowns, one in each game, this postseason. After having his worst output of the season against the Eagles in Week 11, he caught five of six targets for 60 yards and a touchdown in their second matchup.

My model projects McLaurin to post a similar line in this one, catching 5.4 of 8.34 targets for 63.67 yards and 0.46 touchdowns.

Other Flex Options: DeVonta Smith, Jalen Hurts, Austin Ekeler

Value Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Dallas Goedert - TE, $5,600 (DK), $10,000 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 62 targets, 50 receptions, 599 receiving yards, three touchdowns.
  • Opposing DVOA vs. TE: 12.5%

I’ll look at a pair of strong pass-catchers in the value spots for this one, starting with Dallas Goedert. Goedert missed a large chunk of this season while dealing with injuries, but has made a strong comeback since the regular season's final week, which has carried over into the playoffs. He’s caught eight of 10 targets for 103 yards and a touchdown across the Eagles’ first two playoff games and had another 30+ yard touchdown called back on Sunday due to an illegal man downfield penalty. Goedert missed the Week 16 matchup between these two teams, but had a strong outing in Week 11, catching all five of his targets for 61 yards.

My model projects Goedert to catch 4.13 of 5.73 targets for 43.30 yards and 0.31 touchdowns.

Dyami Brown - WR, $5,400 (DK), $8,000 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 53 targets, 41 receptions, 495 receiving yards, two touchdowns.
  • Opposing DVOA vs. WR2: -11.5%

I’ll wrap things up with the pseudo-WR2 for Washington, Dyami Brown. Brown has stepped up for Washington since the playoffs started, catching 11 of 13 targets for 187 yards and a touchdown. It took a while for Brown to step into this role, but he’s stepped into it in a big way.

My model projects Brown to catch 3.65 of 5.8 receptions for 39.24 yards and 0.27 touchdowns.

Other Value Options: Olamide Zaccheaus, Zach Ertz, Eagles D/ST, Zane Gonzalez
