On Saturday afternoon, the NASCAR Cup Series held the qualifying session for this weekend's race at Sonoma Raceway, the Toyota/Save Mart 350.
The 36-car field was split into two groups and each one of them got 20 minutes to lay down their fastest qualifying lap during the session.
It was quite an entertaining qualifying session, as SVG held the fastest laps at the first group completed their session. With the second group, several drivers had some fast laps, but it was Ty Gibbs who wound up fastest in the end and will start from the pole on race day.
