The 38-car field was supposed to be split into two groups for practice, but due to weather and in the favor of fairness, NASCAR allowed all teams to practice in one big session.

Important Practice Notes
Ross Chastain - The No. 1 Chevrolet had a tire come apart during practice, which red-flagged the session. Chastain had to get towed back to pit road. No major damage was reported to his race car.

Chase Briscoe - The No. 19 Toyota had a loose wheel during practice and also had that tire go down while on track. He was able to drive the car back to pit road with the flat tire and didn't seem to have much damage.
Tire Falloff - Things could get very interesting this weekend with the tire falloff. The booth reported that cars were showing three-and-a-half seconds of falloff over 15 laps.
