NASCAR Practice Speeds, Lap Averages, and Notes for Nashville - Cracker Barrel 400 (2026)

Christopher Bell - NASCAR DFS Picks, Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy NASCAR

NASCAR practice speeds, lap averages and notes for the 2026 Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway. Use the NASCAR stats and data to build DFS lineups on DraftKings. Christopher Bell was fastest.

The NASCAR Cup Series ran a single practice session at Nashville Superspeedway on Saturday afternoon in preparation for the upcoming Cracker Barrel 400 on Sunday evening.

The 38-car field was supposed to be split into two groups for practice, but due to threat of rain and simply wanting to get a session in, NASCAR allowed all teams to practice in one big group.

Below you will find key notes from the practice session as well as the practice speeds for all drivers.

Important Practice Notes

Tyler Reddick - The series points leader had some concerns about his brakes and mentioned that the pedal was "squishy." Still, the No. 45 Toyota showed good speed in the session, as Reddick ranked fifth-fastest.

Ryan Preece - Another driver with some brake concerns was Ryan Preece, who said his pedal "really went down" while braking and that he was worried about it. He only ran 33 laps in the session.

Ross Chastain - The No. 1 team has struggled quite a bit this season, but they found speed this weekend. Chastain mentioned that the balance in his car was the best he's had in a long time. He was second-fastest on the speed chart.
