BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 19% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: This is definitely just a move for those in the deepest of fantasy leagues. That's mostly because Marquez Vales-Scantling is Green Bay's WR3 and/or WR4 at the very best and prior to W11 he had topped at a 66% snap share while logging just five games played that now amount to six. MVS got to stay on the field for the second-most snaps this season (48) and a rather high 81% share in W11 and then was able to break for a 70% snap share before the Bye week, but we'll see if that stays the same with Lazard/Adams available ROS.
Marquez should still be a kinda-viable play for those truly hurting for help at the position--and obviously, he's the next-man-up in the Packers receiving corps in the event of an injury to any other wideout. MVS put on a show against Minny going for a 10-4-123-1 line in a game that saw MVS score his second touchdown of the season. All things considered, MVS finished the day with 22.3 PPR points and a WR6 finish pending MNF. He came down to Earth a bit in W12 with 9.0 PPR points and a more reasonable 9-4-50 outing, though it's also true that the 9 targets were the second-most he's gotten this season, so the volume was still quite high.
It's not too crazy to see MVS getting 8+ targets and some 4+ receptions on games he has that 70%+ snap share, which seems to be the norm these days. Again, don't go chasing MVS too crazily but definitely consider him in really deep formats out there as a what-if flier ROS.
