KBO DFS Lineup Picks for 6/18/20 - DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball

John Gresens' KBO DFS lineup picks for contests on FanDuel and DraftKings on 6/18/20. Daily fantasy baseball analysis for pitchers, hitters and DFS stacks.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another KBO DFS pick column with yours truly! If you haven't been following me on Twitter @efhatch1990dfs, then you should start! I have been covering KBO since day one, and have been creating my own personal KBO DFS Cheat Sheets to help people win money, you will now be able to find those sheets here on Rotoballer with the ease of a click and that is why you won't be seeing my sheets included here anymore unless I make a custom sheet for a particular reason!

New to KBO? Don't worry, we got you covered! DraftKings and FanDuel will use the same scoring system that they do for MLB, however, the roster builds are much different on FanDuel. You must roster two infielders, two outfielders, and two utility players along with a pitcher for a total of only seven players on FanDuel.  DraftKings has kept its normal MLB structure with two starting pitchers and an entire eight-hitter lineup for a total of ten players. Building lineups on each site is going to take a different approach on most nights.

Today, I'll be providing my KBO DFS lineup picks and analysis for this five-game slate on DraftKings and FanDuel that locks at 5:30 AM on Thursday, June 18, 2020. You can check our daily KBO Betting Picks as well. Make sure you are also following me @efhatch1990dfs on Twitter, and good luck RotoBallers!

KBO DFS Pitchers

Chang Mo Koo (NCD) -159

$9.4K Draftkings, $30 FanDuel

You guys probably already know that Koo is my favorite pitcher in this league and he is a great GPP option tonight, but definitely not safe enough for cash as KIA has been very good at home this season and now there are weather concerns as well but you can just overlook his 30.1% K rate this year and ability to go deep into games.

He finally gave up his first home run of the year in his last start and that was the big question mark about him was if he could get the long ball under control and he has done that so far this year. KIA is 4th worst in the league against lefties with a BA of just .254. I'm not going to worry about the home splits of KIA and there below-average K rate and believe in Koo's skill set for this as long as it plays.

Tyler Wilson (LG) -295

$8.2K Draftkings, $26 Fanduel

Tyler Wilson will be my top cash option for tonight's slate being the largest favorite on the slate and going up against a bad Hanwha offense. Wilson already faced this team once and only allowed two hits, no walks, and only three Ks in his six innings of work. That's a solid floor in cash and he has the upside to add a few more K's with all the roster moves HAN has made.

Hanwha is bottom of the barrel in all offensive categories versus right-handed pitching. Wilson should cruise through this lineup, it only took him 77 pitches last times and if they extend his leash this could provide some added upside if we see him get an extra inning of work.

Other Options:

KBO Top Hitter Stacks

LG Twins

The Twins are on the road, huge bump to them, and they get to face Shi Hwan Jang, who was one of the many sent to the futures league when HAN rolled there roster over, now he's back and gets to face the #2 team in the league, not great for him, but great for LG bats as Jang sports a hefty 1.3 HR/9 in his 27.2 innings coming in at 2nd highest, .02 below the worst.

LG as a team has the 2nd highest OPS in the league against righties at .822 and has a team ISO of .171. Even without Ramos I still really like this team.

Main Targets:

Secondary

  • Kang Nam Yoo
  • Chun Woong Lee

Lotte Giants

There a lot of good pitching and not a lot of good spots for offense. This is based on matchup alone I don't like the fact there at Kiwoom but they get to face Seung Ho Lee and he has had power trouble, mostly on the road, but he's only had 2 starts at home this year. I'm not looking to full-stack here but mini stacks are in play. Jun Woo Jeon leads the team with 6 homers this year he and Machado are my top options.

Secondary

  • Ah Seop Son
  • Hoon Jung

Other DFS Stacks

  • NC Dinos are always in play and their recent struggles may bring down the ownership a bit.

Good luck in your DFS contests everyone. Be sure to stop back every day for some more KBO DFS analysis here at RotoBaller!
