BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 19% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: After missing two consecutive games in the W11-W13 span, Fields came back to man the Bears pocket this past Sunday at Green Bay, and hey, he did more than enough to get back to most fantasy GMs (in deeper formats, that is) radars. Fields went through very stinky growing pains through the first handful of games he played this season, but starting back on Week 6 he has been a rather productive quarterback.
So productive, in fact, that Fields has more top-12/QB1 finishes from W6 on than he has as a QB2/QB3 (three against two, that is). In the past four games, he's started and finished three games getting into the QB1 realm in all of those matches. Yes, you read that right. He finished QB5 overall in W8, then QB10, and he's now coming off a QB8 finish thanks to a 33-18-224-2-2 outing against the Packers.
Barring his W8 rushing explosion (10 carries for 103 yards and a TD), the truth is that Fields had been a meh rusher prior to W14 when he was able to carry the ball 9 times for 74 yards on the ground. Fields is a more than solid streamer for those still doing it, much more with the Bye weeks in the rearview mirror these days and the fantasy playoffs kicking off this week in most leagues. The receiving corps of the Bears are barren of talent, and that's the only reason not to consider Fields a top-12 QB ROS, but he should be a lock to start for whoever can land him in 14+ Team leagues out there.
