ANALYSIS: Josh Reddick hit a three-run homer on Friday and drove in five on the night, giving him 10 HR, 53 RBI on the season. Those aren't overwhelming power numbers, but Reddick is contributing even more in the less exciting categories, such as runs scored, and has even snuck a few steals in. Reddick is slashing .306/.348/.495 with 60 R, and seven SB. Reddick continues to reach base at a high clip and should keep scoring plenty of runs in that potent Astros lineup, even without Carlos Correa around. In his first full season with the A's, Reddick was a pure slugger who hit 32 homers but only reached base at a .305 rate. Since his disappointing follow-up in 2013, Reddick changed his approach and has raised his batting average and on-base percentage each of the last four seasons. His strikeout rate has also fallen down to 14.3% this season while his contact rate has stayed above league average, as high as 92.9% contact inside the strike zone.

The fact that he's barely half-owned across all leagues can only be a reflection of his injury history, not his performance. Reddick has missed an entire season's worth of games (161) over the previous four years. So far so good on that front, as he has benefited from the occasional day off in an effort to stay on the field. Reddick isn't a game-changer in any one category, but his fantasy line helps across the boards in all league formats.
