BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team PPR Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 59% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Jaxon Smith-Njigba had a lot of hype entering the NFL after a stellar 2021 season at Ohio State. Smith-Njigba was picked in the first round of the 2022 draft despite missing most of his final collegiate season due to injury.
Fantasy managers loved the idea of Smith-Njigba playing alongside DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett and quickly drafted him to their fantasy squads, but after a slow start to his career, JSN was dropped by many fantasy managers, but he proved them wrong with a big bounce-back performance in Week 7.

With Metcalf out due to injury, Smith-Njigba torched the Cardinals by catching four passes for 63 yards, scoring his first-ever touchdown in the process. He was targeted seven times by QB Geno Smith and finished as Week 7's WR15 in the PPR format.
Metcalf is still questionable to return in Week 8 against the Browns, so even if he does return, it seems like the Seahawks will give Smith-Njigba a bigger role until their star wideout is fully healthy. JSN also had a solid game against the Bengals in Week 5, and he looks like he has hit his stride after the Bye Week.
JSN's immediate schedule is very difficult, as he will be facing the Browns and the Ravens, who rank second and first in the least points per drive allowed respectively. But his schedule will get easier during the fantasy playoffs, as the Seahawks will face the Eagles (third-most PPR points allowed to WRs), the Titans (seventh), and the Steelers (fourth). By that point, Smith-Njigba will be completely familiar with the offense, and you can expect solid performances from him.
