BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 33% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: When someone has an explosion such as Isaiah McKenzie's last Thanksgiving, you just have to go with the flow and strike while it's hot. That doesn't mean that 1) adding McKenzie to your team will solve all of its problems or 2) adding McKenzie will turn your squad into a league-winning machine overnight... but that doesn't mean that you would lose anything for trying, either.
McKenzie is coming off a career-best game after catching 6-of-10 targets last Thursday on the road against Detroit. He racked up 96 yards and put the cherry on top of it all by scoring a touchdown. All things considered, the 22.3 PPR points marked a season-high for McKenzie after he had only topped 12.1 PPR once before (Week 3).
Bills' quarterback Josh Allen had an über-efficient game completing 24 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns. Stefon Diggs was the obvious primary option (15 targets) for him, with McKenzie getting the WR2 role in terms of looks and production (no other Bills WR got more than five targets).
McKenzie's TNF numbers are going to be highly unsustainable for him ROS as he's only been targeted more than five times in three different games through Week 12, and just twice has he seen more than six targets. Even then, McKenzie put up three total touchdowns and an average stat line close to 4/5/40 in the first four weeks of the season, so it's not that he's bad for those in deeper formats.
Don't chase McKenzie wildly as he's not worth such pursuit, but surely consider him a viable fantasy option for the last games of the season, even more, if Diggs gets some rest assuming all stars align for Buffalo and they can separate a bit in their run for a playoffs berth.
