Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane has been an absolute star over the past three weeks, carrying fantasy teams to newfound heights.
During the third quarter of Miami's Week 5, 31-16 victory over the New York Giants, Achane was rumored to have either a knee or ankle injury following an outside run.
Is this injury real? What is the severity? Will he play in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers? Fantasy managers wait with bated breath.

De'Von Achane Injury Update for Fantasy Football
At first glance, the play where the young speedster was injured didn't look like much. An everyday tackle on a short gain. Happening early in the fourth quarter, he even played a snap or two afterward and didn't appear to have a limp or head to the locker room early.
Head Coach Mike McDaniel also downplayed the injury, stating, "There are various things that he’s undergoing—handshakes as well, high fives. I think from all accounts he had a good breakfast and lunch."
Unfortunately, however, it was reported this morning that the rookie sustained a knee injury and is likely to miss "multiple weeks."
While there has been a ton of speculation amongst Twitter Doctors, we currently have no official update on what injury Achane actually suffered and whether or not he will be placed on Injured Reserve.
De'Von Achane Fantasy Football Outlook
Being placed on Injured Reserve would be devastating news to fantasy managers who found a star late in drafts or on the waiver wire. Assuming the former Aggie is moved to the team's IR, he's guaranteed to miss the next four games, making him eligible to return on November 19th against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Averaging an insane 12 yards per carry and 25 fantasy points over his first four games, it is best to keep your fingers crossed that this injury isn't all that severe and that our young Zero-RB savior is able to return within a reasonable time frame.
When Achane is able to return, fire him up as an RB1 in your lineup. But, for now, managers need to be looking for a roster replacement until we learn more.
