Fantasy Football Matchups We Love - Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks for Week 15 (2025)

Trevor Lawrence - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Quincy's top fantasy football matchups for Week 15 of 2025. His favorite start 'em, sit 'em picks and predictions -- strong start/sit matchups that he loves.

For most leagues, the fantasy football playoffs have finally arrived. This exciting period in the fantasy football season is just in time for the stretch run of the real NFL season. NFL teams are making their final stand as the playoffs approach. This is the time of year when, as fantasy managers, we can find absolute gold mines in the form of injuries, breakouts, and surprise players.

Week 15 brings several solid possibilities throughout the league. With great matchups for some of the lesser-coveted fantasy football chest pieces, fantasy managers can hope for fireworks during this first week of the fantasy playoffs. For many fantasy football managers, this is a win-or-go-home week. As such, it is even more prudent that we nail the start/sit questions this week.

Week 14 produced a handful of duds due to injuries and other fluke outings. Hopefully, we will not face the same issues in Week 15. With every team playing from here on out, let's dive in and see where we can find the best advantages in Week 15.

Editor's Note: The FFPC Playoff Challenge #2 is back with a massive $100,000 grand prize and $203,250 total prize pool, paying down to 100th place. Here's the deal: no salary cap, no draft, no pickups, no subs. Choose 8 players, and as NFL teams get knocked out so will your players, so choose your team wisely. The entries will sell out quickly, and registrations will close on Saturday January 17th at 4:30 pm ET . Don't wait - get your team now and end your fantasy football season with a shot at $100,000! Quarterback Matchups We Love

Trevor Lawrence - Jacksonville Jaguars
Opponent: NYJ
Opponent Rank vs. QB: 23rd

Trevor Lawrence deserves a nod in Week 15 as the Jaguars continue to ascend offensively. He has delivered three straight games hovering around 20 fantasy points, and he draws a depleted Jets defense this week. The Jets are playing for nothing at this point, and they look dejected.

Lawrence should have no problem carving up the Jets on Sunday. Additionally, the Jets have, in historic fashion, not recorded an interception yet this season. As long as Lawrence plays a clean game, you should be happy with the fantasy outcome.

Matthew Stafford - Los Angeles Rams
Opponent: DET
Opponent Rank vs. QB: 26th

Some people lost faith in Matthew Stafford after a couple of up-and-down weeks. However, Stafford reentered the MVP conversation with a vengeance on Sunday. That production should not falter in Week 15 when the Rams host the Lions. This game projects to be one of the highest-scoring affairs on the Week 15 slate. Stafford should have no issues dicing up the Lions secondary at home.

The Lions have a fantastic run defense, but they lack a consistent pass defense. Look for the Rams to establish the run and carve up the Lions with play action. This game has legitimate potential for 50-plus combined points. You do not want to miss out on the various pieces of this game.

Quarterback Matchup to Temper Expectations

Caleb Williams - Chicago Bears
Opponent: CLE
Opponent Rank vs. QB: 5th

Caleb Williams has delivered a good fantasy game here and there, but he does not appear poised to do so in Week 15 against the Browns. You need a ceiling once you enter the fantasy playoffs. The Browns have been the worst nightmare of most quarterbacks they have faced this season. Despite Williams' propensity to avoid sacks in 2025, he may have difficulty doing such in Week 15.

With two talented defenses clashing in this game, do not be surprised if this is a lower-scoring affair. Unless you are in a dire position at quarterback, it is unlikely that you will need to start Williams this week. Leave him out of your lineup.

Running Back Matchups We Love

Saquon Barkley - Philadelphia Eagles
Opponent: LV
Opponent Rank vs. RB: 24th

Saquon Barkley has fallen to a tier where he needs to be included on this list. As an RB2 at best, Barkley has not delivered anything close to the value that he did in his historic 2024 season. However, the Eagles should have success in Week 15 against a lifeless Raiders defense. The Eagles need this game to get back to what makes them great. Look for them to start feeding Barkley as they approach the postseason.

Barkley's main issue this season has been his efficiency and lack of yards before contact. While the latter is an offensive line issue, both should be remedied in Week 15 against a Raiders front that allows 4.12 yards per carry to opposing running backs. Barkley has top-5 upside in Week 15.

Woody Marks - Houston Texans
Opponent: ARI
Opponent Rank vs. RB: 29th

Woody Marks has come alive in 2025. He draws a great home matchup with a Cardinals defense that is surrendering 107.9 yards per game to opposing running backs. Marks is receiving fantastic volume as a runner, and he is doing a solid job with it. If he could find the end zone a bit more, he would be a great RB2.

Marks' opportunities to find the end zone could improve in Week 15 if Nick Chubb is forced to sit with a rib injury. Marks was already playing over 50% of the snaps, but he logged 87% of the snaps in Week 14 with Chubb forced out of the game. Look for Marks to turn in a nice outing in Week 15.

Running Back Matchup to Temper Expectations

Jonathan Taylor - Indianapolis Colts
Opponent: at SEA
Opponent Rank vs. RB: 7th

Although you are always going to start Jonathan Taylor, be wary of this matchup with an elite Seahawks defensive front. Additionally, the Colts have lost the threat of a running quarterback to keep defenses honest, with Daniel Jones done for the season. This could be a down week for one of the best anchors of the 2025 fantasy football season.

Since his outrageous 244-yard outburst in Week 10, Taylor has not surpassed 15.10 PPR fantasy points in a game. Opposing defenses seem to have figured out how to defend this Colts offense. You may need to adjust the rest of your roster construction for more ceiling with Taylor's efficiency likely to lack in Week 15.

Wide Receiver Matchups We Love

Wan'Dale Robinson - New York Giants
Opponent: WAS
Opponent Rank vs. WR: 25th

Wan'Dale Robinson is back on this list with the Giants returning from their bye. Despite its best efforts, the 2025 Commanders defense cannot defend anyone at any position. Robinson has carved out an excellent role for himself with a promising young quarterback in Jaxson Dart slinging the rock.

Robinson has turned in WR2 numbers for most of this season. Expect more of the same in Week 15. Robinson even has a chance for more of a ceiling game, given how bad the Commanders defense is. He is a safe play for the first week of the fantasy football playoffs.

Zay Flowers - Baltimore Ravens
Opponent: at CIN
Opponent Rank vs. WR: 6th

Zay Flowers bounced back in a big way in Week 14. He recorded his first 100-yard day since Week 1 and got back on track after an absolute dud in Week 13. Despite the Ravens drawing the Bengals once again this week, do not expect Flowers to be stymied as he was in Week 13. The entire Ravens offense was off in that game.

Look for quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow to go toe-to-toe in a classic matchup between the two this week. Flowers' touchdown opportunities are likely to continue to be scarce, but he will have plenty of volume, and the receptions should flow. Start Flowers with confidence this week.

Wide Receiver Matchup to Temper Expectations

Michael Wilson - Arizona Cardinals
Opponent: at HOU
Opponent Rank vs. WR: 3rd

If there were ever a week that Michael Wilson might falter, this would be the one. Wilson has been on a tear of late, but Houston has been a complete no-fly zone for opposing passing attacks. Additionally, there is always the threat of Marvin Harrison Jr. returning this week. Wilson's otherworldly success has been directly related to the absence of Harrison.

If Harrison does miss time, look for Wilson to receive plenty of targets but struggle with efficiency. This could be a very low-scoring game with the Texans playing so well defensively. Wilson may be a solid flex option, but do not roll into the first week of the fantasy playoffs banking on a massive game from the third-year pro.

Tight End Matchup We Love

Mark Andrews - Baltimore Ravens
Opponent: at CIN
Opponent Rank vs. TE: 32nd

This seems like too easy a pick, but the Bengals continue to demonstrate that they are incapable of defending the tight end position. Andrews and Isaiah Likely should find plenty of space to operate in the middle of the field.

Andrews is relatively touchdown dependent at this point in his career, but he has a great chance to score in Week 15. With the Bengals struggling so much against the position, Andrews could even rack up plenty of yards and targets. We are talking about a team that has allowed nearly 100 more PPR fantasy points to the tight end position than the next-worst team. Plug Andrews in this week.

Tight End Matchup to Temper Expectations

Dallas Goedert - Philadelphia Eagles
Opponent: LV
Opponent Rank vs. TE: 4th

Dallas Goedert's production has faltered over the second half of the season, with the Eagles offense not firing on all cylinders. Although the Raiders are vulnerable at most positions, one area they have succeeded in defending in fantasy is opposing tight ends.

The Eagles seem poised to literally run right through the Raiders this week. Goedert's volume seems likely to remain low in Week 15 despite a spike in targets in Week 14. It is do-or-die time in the fantasy playoffs, and you do not want to be stopped by a player with an extremely low floor.
