FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (1/10/21): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Stephen Curry - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 1/10/21, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

Happy Sunday, everyone. The "Main Slate" has six games on the horizon, complete with some storylines and situations that may open the door for tons of value opportunities. The Celtics, much like the 76ers on Saturday, will be shorthanded against the Miami Heat due to the league's health and safety protocols relating to COVID-19. While this contest is scheduled to take place, there is always a chance that it may be rescheduled.

In Brooklyn, Kevin Durant is probable after spending a few days in isolation. In addition, Kyrie Irving, who has sat during the Nets' previous two games against Philadelphia and Memphis, is listed as questionable against the Oklahoma City Thunder. If both of these guys are back in the lineup, Caris Levert, who has produced over 50 fantasy points during Irving's absence, may see a dip in production.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/10/21. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out DraftKings lineup picks and injury news before lineups lock. Good luck, RotoBallers.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Stephen Curry, PG - vs. TOR ($10,000)

Curry should be considered an anchor in everyone’s DFS lineup on Sunday. As the Warriors try to navigate the way through the year, the former MVP should continue to get things done. He has been on fire as of late, producing at least 50 fantasy points in three of his previous four outings and at least 63.9 fantasy points in two of them. He will be heading into the matchup against the Raptors, fresh off a 38-point performance against the Los Angeles Clippers a few nights ago. His stock will rise even higher if Andrew Wiggins, who may not play, isn’t in the lineup.

Marcus Smart, SG - vs. MIA ($6,300)

With the Celtics having a shortage of players available against the Heat, others will benefit. Jayson Tatum is out, and Jaylen Brown is questionable, and with those two alone out of the picture, Smart will benefit by gaining a sizable 8.4% percent bump in usage. Look for him to have the ball in his hands more than usual, and as a result, he has a solid chance to finish as the team’s leading producer on the fantasy end.

Also consider: James Harden ($11,200), DeMar DeRozan ($7,800), Dejounte Murray ($6,600), Payton Pritchard ($5,200), Jeff Teague ($4,700)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kevin Durant, SF - vs. OKC ($9,900)

Durant has missed the last three games, but he has a good chance to return on Sunday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He looks as good as ever this season, averaging 28.2 points while shooting an impressive 45.5% percent from deep. Keep an eye on Kyrie Irving because if he doesn't play, Durant will receive an 8.5% bump in usage to go along with a massive increase of 16.9 in +/- differential. Nonetheless, even if Irving finds his way back to the court, Durant should still be considered for DFS lineups on Sunday night.

Daniel Theis, PF - vs. MIA ($5,700)

The Celtics will also be down a few players up front on Sunday. Tristan Thompson will also be out of the equation, which will give Theis plenty of action in this one. He has played nearly 30 minutes in each of his last two games, and although Tacko Fall should be around to help lessen his load, Theis has an opportunity to hit his value—and potentially beyond—against the Heat.

Also consider: Jimmy Butler ($8,100), RJ Barrett ($6,700), Keldon Johnson ($6,200), Kelly Oubre ($5,300), Pascal Siakam ($8,400), Draymond Green ($5,100), Eric Paschall ($4,400)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Jarrett Allen, C - vs. OKC ($7,400)

Allen has gotten a noticeable increase in minutes over the last few weeks. As DeAndre Jordan continues to play less and less, the 22-year-old has emerged as one of the most reliable centers in the league. He can get it done on the glass and has developed a nasty reputation for his shot-blocking prowess over the years, but he has also picked things up on the scoring end. Although his recent uptick in scoring is directly related to the absences of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, he should continue to receive plenty of minutes in the middle on Sunday against a Thunder team that is vulnerable underneath the basket.

Also consider: Nikola Jokic ($11,500), Bam Adebayo ($8,500), James Wiseman ($4,800), Tacko Fall ($4,500)
