FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (6/15/18): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

Kevin Luchansky highlights the top FanDuel MLB DFS lineup picks for 6/15/18.

A 15-game Main slate Friday is pretty well deserved after that weak four-gamer we had to deal with last night. Oh, and it's the weekend, too. Pretty sweet combination in my opinion. There are a handful of stud and stud-like pitchers at the top - so there's much to discuss.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/14/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me up on Twitter @kpLuch.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Corey Kluber - SP, vs MIN ($12,000)

Corey Kluber has been nothing short of brilliant this season and I expect him to continue his dominant run tonight against the Twins. The Twins are currently implied for 3.2 runs - tied for lowest on the slate that includes all 30 teams - and the Indians are big time favorites on the moneyline in Vegas at -205. For the season, Kluber has posted elite numbers in a few categories, including a 0.7 WHIP, 11.2 K/9, a 10.7% swinging strike rate and a 27.5% K rate. The Twins have been fairly middle of the pack this season against right-handed pitching, posting a 96 wRC+ and a 22% K rate. While the price is a little steep, the fact that he pitches deep into games should help to offset the price, as does his strikeout prowess - and he should get run support tonight.

Ross Stripling - SP, vs SFG ($9,100)

This "kid" (who is actually 28) is pretty special. In 60 innings pitched this season, he's posted a 30.7% K rate, a 10.6% swinging strike rate, and his SIERA is just 2.69 (pretty damn good considering his BABIP allowed is .311). He may not have quite the same ceiling as a guy like Kluber tonight, but if you fall in love with some bats you can't fit in a Kluber-led lineup, Stripling is your guy. He, too, is an enourmous moneyline favorite at -204, and is pitching in an even better pitcher's park. I certainly think he can pay off this price tag and then some, but the K upside isn't quite as high thanks to the Giants peskiness at the plate (23% K rate against RHP this season.)

Also Consider: Zack Godley - SP, vs NYM ($7,200)

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Matt Adams - 1B, at TOR ($3,600)

Adams has been running pretty hot this past week, as he's beaten his price implied value in three straight and posted a monstrous 62% hard hit rate in his last six games played. He gets a slight park upgrade tonight and matches up well with Aaron Sanchez. For the season, Adams has a strong .385 wOBA split and an even more attractive .301 ISO mark.

Yoan Moncada - 2B, vs DET ($3,200)

Moncada's DFS results over the past week leave something to be desired, but his batted ball profile in that time is pretty strong and he's also been the victim of some bad BABIP luck. That should change tonight in a good matchup against Mike Fiers. Moncada is a value at this price, especially considering his power upside. The switch-hitter performs much better from the left side, posting wOBA and ISO differentials of +0.97 and +.115, respectively.

Justin Turner - 3B, vs SFG ($3,600)

Turner has looked really good since his return from the disabled list, and I'm always interested in rostering Ginger Jesus when he's facing a southpaw. It's a small sample, but his wOBA and ISO marks against lefties this season are .515 and .400, respectively. He also has a pretty solid 38% hard hit rate in the past week and his beaten his price implied total in three straight starts.

Trevor Story - SS, at TEX ($4,300)

Story usually only piques my interest at Coors and while facing a lefty, but against a lefty in a hitter's park like Arlington is very intriguing. He has elite marks against lefties, highlighted by a .406 wOBA and a .316 ISO. He's got the upper hand in this matchup, and also has a 50% hard hit rate over the past four series the Rockies have played.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Joey Gallo - OF, vs COL ($3,000)

Great value on the power-hitting Gallo tonight. He gets a winnable matchup and will be at home in the confines of a hitter friendly park, where it should be 91 degrees. The balls could be flying out of the stadium tonight in Arlington. In addition to a monstrous 72% hard hit rate in the past 10 games (yes, you read that correctly), he has a .363 wOBA and a .332 ISO split against right-handed pitching this season.

Teoscar Hernandez - OF, vs WAS ($3,800)

Hernandez is a little expensive for my taste in cash considering the matchup could be tough, but I have big interest in him in tournaments thanks to the projected low ownership and the power he puts on display against southpaws. For the past 12 months, he has a massive .316 ISO and .556 slugging percentage split against lefties.
