DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/26/19): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on April 26, 2019. Daniel Benjamin provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

There is only one game on the second Friday of the playoffs and it is an important as the Golden State Warriors look to close out the Los Angeles Clippers once again, but this contest is in Los Angeles. The Clippers stretched the series to six games by defeating the Warriors 129-123 on Wednesday in Oakland.  The Warriors have won six of the nine matchups between the teams this year, including three of the four in L.A. In addition, seven of the nine games has seen the squads combine for 225 or more points.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/26/19. This DFS lineup picks will be different than normal the DraftKings games as the contest is a showdown event meaning that position of the choices are not relevant and the player has to pick a captain whose cost and points are 1.5 times of other players. So, the captain pick is quite pivotal.

You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. As always, don't set your lineups too early. Find me @ZoneDeeSports on Twitter.

DraftKings DFS Captain

Kevin Durant: $17,100

There are really just three options for this special spot -- Durant, Stephen Curry, and Lou Williams. I went with Durant because he has been the most consistent of the three players throughout the season. Plus, he is coming off a tremendous game on Wednesday as he poured in 45 points, grabbed six rebounds, and doled out six assists while shooting 53.8 percent (14-26) from the field, 41.7 percent (5-12) from the three-point lines, and 100 percent (12-12) from the free throw line. It was his third 30-point effort this series and the ninth time that he tallied at least 40 points in the postseason. As a captain pick, Durant produced 104.25 DraftKings points in Game 5.

The 6-foot-9 forward has been stroking the ball well this series. He has reached the 20-point mark in each of the five games of the series while connecting on 56.4 percent of his field goal attempts, 38.7 percent from beyond the arc as well as 95.5% from the free throw line. Durant, who has drawn 17 shooting fouls this series including nine and one's, has made three treys in each of his last three outings and is averaging 2.4 triples during the playoffs.

Four Other DraftKings DFS Players

Lou Williams: $10,000

Williams has continued his reputation as being a high volume scorer and streaky shooter. He has been splendid in the Clips two victories in the series as he has hit big shot after big shot. The 6-foot-1 combo guard tossed in 33 points and dished out 10 assists while making 12 of 19 shots from the field and 8 of 9 from the charity stripe in Game 5. It was his third game of the series tallying 25 or more points and second contest of posting a double-double.

The 32-year-old has been very good against the Warriors, compiling 40.3 DK points as he averages 23.1 points, 7.4 assists, and three rebounds while shooting 44.9 percent from the floor.

Draymond Green: $7,800

Despite the fact that he is coming off his worst season in the past five years, Green has been very productive this series and costs the lowest amount of money since the first two games of the series. Plus, he has played well versus the Clippers the entire season.

He has tallied 30 or more DK points in four of the five games in the series, averaging 11.2 points, 7.4 assists, 6.4 rebounds, 1.4 blocks, and 1.2 steals. The 6-foot-7 forward has scored in double-figures three times, grabbed at least six rebounds (five times), and doled out five assists during the series. More importantly, Green has come up with a steal or block shot in each of the five contests.

Patrick Beverley: $6,2o0

While Beverley is a boom or bust this series, he has played well the past two games. The 30-year-old has posted a double-double in each of the last two contests as he has hit the boards hard. Plus, Beverley has shot well from downtown -- draining 2.4 treys a game at a 40.8 percent clip -- shared the ball well (4.2 assists) and come up with a few defensive stats throughout the series. He has scored in double-figures and grabbed at least seven rebounds in three of the contests.

Kevon Looney: $3,600

The 6-foot-9 big man is one of the best inexpensive options. He has scored in double-figures in two of the five games and grabbed at least seven boards on three occasions. Looney is averaging 8.4 points and five rebounds while shooting 63 percent from the floor in 18.6 minutes a game.
