The top DraftKings daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 1/27/17 by Justin Bales. Expert NBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for DraftKings.

We have a huge slate tonight, which means there are a plethora of high priced options. We have four players priced at $10k or higher, and multiple other options just under the $10k mark. We also have a ton of great salary relief options to balance out your lineup.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/27/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Isaiah Thomas – PG, vs ORL ($9,600)

Thomas’ price continues to rise, but he still isn’t expensive enough. He’s averaging 35.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game over the last 10 days. He has also scored at least 49 fantasy points in six of his last seven games, and he’s taking more than 20 shots on a nightly basis. He gets a tough matchup against the Magic tonight, and while they will be looking to slow down the pace, Thomas’ offensive production likely won’t take a hit. He can be used in all leagues.

Malcolm Brogdon – PG/SG, at TOR ($4,900)

Brogdon’s price has been on the decline, which is a bit surprising, as he has been producing fairly well recently. He has scored at least 25 fantasy points in five of his last six games, and he continues to play big minutes for Milwaukee. He has been coming off the bench recently, but it hasn’t seemed to hurt his value. Brogdon is a player that can score in multiple categories, and he gets a solid matchup against the Raptors tonight. He can be used in all leagues.

Garrett Temple – SG/SF, at IND ($4,200)

Temple has seen an increase in production since the injury to Rudy Gay, and that should continue tonight. In the four games without Gay, Temple is averaging 25.4 fantasy points in 33.8 minutes per game. He gets a good matchup against the Pacers tonight, and he should see plenty of opportunities to score fantasy points. He’s also guard and forward eligible, which adds to his value, and he’s a great salary relief option in all leagues on this slate.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

DeMarcus Cousins – PF/C, at IND ($11,000)

Cousins has seen his usage rating increase with the injury to Rudy Gay, and he has looked outstanding over his last three games. Over that span, he’s averaging 63.6 fantasy points per game. He has flashed triple double potential, and he has contributed in each of the five categories in all three games. He gets a great matchup against the Pacers, who have struggled against big men this season, and Cousins is still a bit too cheap. He can be used in all leagues tonight.

Paul Millsap – PF, vs WAS ($7,400)

Millsap has certainly had his ups and downs this season, but he’s averaging 19.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.7 blocks, and 1.2 steals per game over the last 10 days. He has scored at least 40 fantasy points in two of his last three games, and he comes with elite upside because of his versatility. He also gets a good matchup against the Wizards, who he is averaging 41.5 fantasy points per game in two matchups this season. Millsap is best suited for tournaments tonight.

Kent Bazemore – SG/SF, vs WAS ($5,100)

Bazemore has been an elite fantasy option in his last five competitive games. In those games, he’s averaging 34 fantasy points per game. His price tag is still low because he struggled in two games that were blowouts between those games. He gets a solid matchup against the Wizards tonight, though, and Bazemore has displayed solid versatility recently. He can be used in all leagues tonight because of his low price tag.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Brook Lopez – C, at CLE ($6,500)

Lopez has been underpriced for the majority of the season, and tonight is no different. He’s averaging 24.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.6 blocks per game over the last 10 days. He has also scored at least 40 fantasy points in four of his last five games, and he has been fairly consistent recently for his price tag. He gets a tough matchup against the Cavs, but Lopez is the focal point of the Nets offense, and he can contribute in multiple categories. He does come with some risk, but he’s cheap enough to be used in all leagues tonight.

Guillermo Hernangomez – C, vs CHA ($3,900)

Jeff Hornacek stated that Hernangomez needed more minutes in the second unit, and he has played 24 minutes in each of his last two games. He was able to score 34 and 37 fantasy points in those games, and he has been an elite option when given the minutes this season. He isn’t going to play huge minutes tonight, but he’s a player that can score fantasy points in a hurry, and he comes with an extremely low price tag. That price tag is only going to increase from here on out, and he’s a great salary relief option.
