We've got a big Saturday on deck for us at DraftKings, with five slates to choose from and tons of different contests to choose from. For this article, I'll be looking at players across all slates.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/28/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

DraftKings Starting Pitchers
Lance McCullers Jr., HOU (vs OAK) - $11,200
McCullers still has an ugly ERA for the season after one blow-up outing, but he's looked like an ace in every other start. He's got an insane 31.6% K-rate with just a 3.43 FIP on the season. While the Athletics haven't been a bad lineup this year, McCullers is pretty much matchup-proof at this point. You can run him out against any opponent and expect good results. For the price McCullers is at and the upside he offers, he's a great investment on Saturday.
Jose Quintana, CHC (vs MIL) - $7,600
There's no use in sugar-coating it: Quintana has been awful this season. However, I still like grabbing Quintana as a buy-low and hoping for a bounce-back start today. Quintana is coming off of a season where he struck out 26.2% of batters and ran a 3.68 FIP, so it's tough to imagine that he's actually as bad as he's pitched through four starts this year. Quintana should only be used in GPP contests, where his upside can really pay off. Taking Quintana will allow you to spend big elsewhere on in lineup.
DraftKings Infielders
C - Wilson Ramos, TB (@ BOS) - $3,300
Ramos is really starting to heat up after hitting a home run in each of his last two games. He's now batting .343 with a 1.093 OPS in the last 15 days. Ramos has hit lefties much better than righties throughout his career, with a lifetime 116 wRC against left-handers, and is facing southpaw David Price today. While Price is a good pitcher, Ramos still gets to face him in a hitter's park, so I like grabbing him in GPP contests in hopes for a homer.
1B - Joey Votto, CIN (@ MIN) - $4,200
Not to be outdone by the aforementioned Ramos, Votto has homered in four straight games! He may have gotten off to a cold start this season, but we all know that Votto is still an elite hitter, and he's still not being priced as one. Votto is walking at a 14.3% clip this year, which is more than he strikes out at 12.5%. He should be on base plenty of times against Twins starter Jake Odorizzi, who has a 12.5% walk-rate and a 5.94 FIP.
2B - Ketel Marte, ARI (@ WAS) - $3,400
If you're trying to make room for some expensive players, I like Marte as a punt option at second base. He's not having a very impressive season, but he's got potential for points batting sixth in the Diamondbacks lineup. The DBacks face Jeremy Hellickson today, so grab Marte if you want to get in on the run-scoring party.
3B - Jose Ramirez, CLE (vs SEA) - $4,900
Mariners starter Mike Leake is a pitcher you want to be targeting on Saturday, as he gave up eight earned runs his last time out and now holds a 6.59 ERA, with a pitiful 13.0% K-rate and 8.1% walk-rate. Ramirez is my favorite Indians hitter today, as his low batting average will likely result in him being under-owned, making him a strong contrarian pick. However, Ramirez has just a .200 BABIP, so his batting average will positively regress, and he's already got 7 homers on the season with just a 9.4% K-rate.
SS - Tim Anderson, CWS (@ KC) - $4,000
Tim Anderson leads off for the White Sox when they face a lefty, so he will get the opportunity for lots of runs against opposing starter Eric Skoglund. Skoglund has an awful 8.59 ERA through three starts, and Anderson has an insane 201 wRC+ against left-handed pitching this season. He's a steal at this price.
DraftKings Outfielders
Leonys Martin, DET (@ BAL) - $4,100
Leonys is another leadoff man to grab on Saturday. You may not have noticed, but Martin has been having himself a nice season, rocking a 124 wRC+ with considerable improvements to his walk and strikeout rates. He's in one of the best offensive environments in all of baseball tonight and facing Andrew Cashner, whose 5.61 suggests that plenty of regression is coming his way.
Teoscar Hernandez, TOR (vs TEX) - $4,000
Tesocar is a boom-or-bust outfield option at home in Toronto today. He's got a .995 OPS with three homers and a steal since getting called up two weeks ago. It's tough for me to believe that Rangers starter Bartolo Colon is actually legit, so I'm comfortable taking Hernandez for his upside.
