DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (4/25/18): MLB DFS Lineups

We have a two slate day on DraftKings on this Wednesday. The early slate is small, but features enough games to play. The later slate is significantly larger, and that is the slate that I will be outlining here.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/25/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

DraftKings Starting Pitchers

Clayton Kershaw - P, vs MIA ($14,000)

Kershaw has struggled a bit this season, recording a 1-3 record, 2.46 ERA, and 0.97 WHIP through five starts. He gets an elite matchup against the Miami Marlins, who rank first on the slate in strikeouts per at-bat and second last in team wOBA. Kershaw comes with tremendous upside, and he is a -346 favorite in a game set at only 7 runs. He's an elite option in all leagues.

Trevor Bauer - P, vs CHC ($9,000)

Bauer has featured a few ups and downs this season, but he has posted elite numbers at home. Through two home starts, Bauer sports a 1-1 record, 1.80 ERA, and 0.93 WHIP. He gets a decent matchup against the Chicago Cubs, who have struggled at times this season. Bauer features decent strikeout potential, and he's a -125 favorite in a game set at 8 runs. It's a smaller slate, meaning Bauer can be used in all leagues.

DraftKings Infielders

Yadier Molina - C, vs NYM ($3,700)

Molina has caught fire recently, hitting .342 with five extra-base hits (three home runs), 10 RBIs, and one steal over his last 10 games. He's also hitting over .350 with a slugging percentage nearing .550 and an OPS north of .900 at home this season. He gets a solid matchup against Steven Matz, and Molina features 0.035 wOBA and 0.17 ISO differentials against left-handed pitching. He can be considered in all leagues.

Joey Gallo - 1B, vs OAK ($4,100)

Gallo is a high upside option that has posted surprisingly consistent numbers recently. He isn't hitting for a high average this season, but 57.9% of his hits have gone for extra-bases. He has also been playing well recently, hitting four home runs over his last 10 games. He's a significantly more powerful player against right-handed pitching, recording a 0.122 ISO differential against righties. He gets a good matchup against Kendall Graveman, and Gallo can be used in all leagues.

Jed Lowrie - 2B, at TEX ($4,600)

Lowrie has been playing at a high level this season, hitting .357 with a .612 slugging percentage and a 1.023 OPS through 23 games. He has also been playing at a higher level over his last 10 games. Furthermore, Lowrie is hitting nearly .400 on the road this season. He has displayed surprising power, and Lowrie is a consistent option that has the upside to be used in tournaments, as well.

Mike Moustakas - 3B, vs MIL ($4,200)

Moustakas has been seeing the ball well recently, recording a 51% hard-hit rate over the last 15 days. He is also hitting .311 with seven extra-base hits (four home runs) and nine RBIs over his last 10 games. He has been a better hitter at home this season, and he gets a good matchup against Jhoulys Chacin tonight. Moustakas has been playing well enough to be used in all leagues.

Adeiny Hechavarria - SS, at BAL ($3,000)

Hechavarria is a cheap option, who has a price that does not represent how well he has been playing. He has scored 18, 12, and 18 fantasy points in his last three games, and he is hitting slightly over .350 over his last 10 games. He gets a great matchup against Alex Cobb in a hitter friendly stadium, and Hechavarria can be used in all leagues.

DraftKings Outfielders

Trey Mancini - OF, vs TB ($3,300)

Mancini has looked solid this season, sporting a .280 average with seven extra-base hits and seven RBIs through 21 games. He has scored fantasy points in each of his last eight full games, including a pair of games with double digit fantasy points. He gets a good matchup against James Faria tonight, and Mancini has been a better hitter against right-handed pitching. He's an option that can be considered in all leagues.

Max Muncy - OF, vs MIA ($2,800)

Muncy has struggled in limited at-bats this season, but he has flashed tremendous upside. While his numbers do not look elite, he has featured a solid 44% hard-hit rate over the last 15 days. Muncy has also been a significantly better hitter against right-handed pitching throughout his career, although he has seen limited at-bats against lefties. Tonight, he gets a matchup against Trevor Richards, and he's a solid salary relief option.
