DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Week 7 Daily College Fantasy Football - Saturday Prime Time (10/15/22)

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the Saturday Prime Time Week 7 (10/15/22) slate. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

The fun doesn't end with the main slate! It never does, right? We are back to eight games in prime time this week, but we have some really good ones on tap. The fun begins as 7 Eastern with LSU heading to the Swamp after getting mauled by Tennessee last weekend. A half-hour later, we get to the meat of this with Stanford heading to South Bend for a non-conference, but yearly, tilt. Mississippi State finally leaves StarkVegas for Lexington this week. Clemson heads down to Tallahassee. Nebraska heads to West Lafayette for their first real test since Oklahoma. Memphis will head to Greenville to take on the Pirates

The nightcap for the prime-time slate comes earlier than usual this week with both of them kicking off at 8 Eastern. We have USC heading up to Salt Lake from the coast and Duke hosting the Tarheels. No matter which sport. No matter what kind of ball (if any), these teams really despise each other, so that's always fun!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/8/22 locking at 7 pm eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

D.J. Uiagalelei, Clemson ($7,600)

None of the high-priced quarterbacks on this slate really have my interest. I'm still not paying the super-high premium on Williams because he hasn't really had a ceiling game yet and I really doubt he will against Utah. Meanwhile, Uiagalelei offers nice rushing upside since he has at least 50 rushing yards in four straight games. He's not making mistakes and he's putting up really good all-around numbers. I can pay this price for D.J. and be happy about it.

Drake Maye, North Carolina ($6,600)

Duke's defensive stats are pretty good, but they have played some terrible offenses outside of Kansas. Temple, Northwestern, Virginia, and Georgia Tech are all in the bottom 20% of total offense in FBS. North Carolina A&T is a middling FCS squad. So no, Duke really hasn't been tested much. Kansas scored 35 on them and this North Carolina offense is better than anything Duke has seen so far. Maye has thrown 21 touchdowns in just five games already and he adds rushing upside to that arm talent. He feels really cheap here.

Aidan O'Connell, Purdue ($5,800)

We will finally get to see if Nebraska's defensive revolution includes the secondary. Indiana was down their two best receivers and Rutgers can't throw to save their souls. O'Connell has a big arm and finally looks to be over the upper body injury that sidelined him in Week 4 and limited him in Week 5. O'Connell isn't going to run on you, but he should be able to get over the top of this Nebraska defense a couple of times.

Also consider: Caleb Williams, USC ($9,900); Will Rogers, Mississippi State ($7,700); Seth Henigan, Memphis ($7,000); Holton Ahlers, East Carolina ($5,900); Drew Pyne, Notre Dame ($5,000)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Chris Rodriguez Jr., Kentucky ($6,800)

The Wildcats struggled last week against South Carolina but having Will Levis back should make a huge difference in this offense. Rodgriguez was one of the few bright spots for Kentucky last week. He still racked up 126 rushing yards and caught another pass in the disappointing loss. The Wildcats are going to try and run early and often on the Bulldogs. The volume will be there for Rodriguez again and he's reasonably priced.

Jo'quavious Marks, Mississippi State ($5,700)

The 16 carries Marks got last week was a season-high, but it's the 11 receptions that has my interest. That's 11 free points on DraftKings! Marks is relied upon to create his own space on said receptions, but the yardage doesn't much matter. If we're being spotted 7-10 points on receptions alone on this price range, that's huge upside. Johnson still gets plenty of work and often racks up receptions out of the backfield as well, but Marks seemed to do more with his touches last week. I'll lean a bit toward Marks here, but both are good options.

Audric Estime, Notre Dame ($5,600)

Stanford is giving up 211 rushing yards per game. Even though Chris Tyree keeps stealing carries, Estime has led the Irish in rushing in each of the last three games. Both Estime and Tyree could be good plays here, but for only $400 more, I'll go with the guy that has been getting more touches and leading the way.

Devin Mockobee, Purdue ($4,500)

Dylan Downing now finds himself out for at least a couple of weeks and we still have no update on King Doerue, so there's a good chance that Mockobee might be the feature back against Nebraska. The Cornhuskers have done better against the run, but Mockobee has a nose for the end zone and could do some damage with 15-20 carries. He still hasn't had a game of single digit fantasy points.

Also consider: Tavion Thomas, Utah ($7,300); Will Shipley, Clemson ($6,700); Dillon Johnson, Mississippi State ($6,000); Casey Filkins, Stanford ($5,500); Asa Martin, Memphis ($4,500); Caleb Hood, North Carolina ($3,000)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Josh Downs, North Carolina ($7,800)

Downs has five touchdowns in four games this season and hasn't been below 19 DraftKings points. He is clearly the lead receiver on this team and makes for a nice pairing with Maye against a Duke defense that finally has to play a good offense. There is upside for Downs that I just don't see among the other expensive options.

Trey Palmer, Nebraska ($7,000)

Palmer has a touchdown in each of the last three games...all with Mickey Joseph as the head coach. It's no coincidence. Joseph knows what he has in Palmer since he coached him at LSU. We are still seeing Palmer and Casey Thompson developing together, but Palmer is by far the most targeted Nebraska receiver. He has 22 catches for 313 yards and three touchdowns since Joseph took over. Expect more of the same in a game that Nebraska might be playing from behind in.

Michael Mayer, Notre Dame ($5,600)

There are a lot of good tight ends on this slate (Dalton Kincaid, Payne Durham, Travis Vokolek), but Mayer still towers over them all. The Irish will be able to run the ball here, but we can't ignore Mayer's 18 receptions for 206 yards and three touchdowns over the last two games. He has scored in every game but the Ohio State game for the Irish. It's uncommon to find this kind of volume for this price, but when I do, I'm all over it. Mayer isn't going to break the big play, but in a PPR format like DraftKings, he's well worth this price.

Kayshon Boutte, LSU ($4,700)

I was a week early on Boutte against Auburn, but he was worth the price against Tennessee. He caught six passes including a touchdown against the Vols. He's going to find the going tough against Florida as well, but if the volume is finally there, Boutte is worth considering for this price. We know how talented he is. Boutte had three straight 100-yard games to close out the 2020 season, including 308 yards against Ole Miss. This is a different team with a different coach, but that talent doesn't just disappear.

Also consider: Jordan Addison, USC ($8,400); Charlie Jones, Purdue ($7,500); Johnny Wilson, Florida State ($6,400); Isaiah Winstead, East Carolina ($5,800); Brycen Tremayne, Stanford ($5,200); Marcus Washington, Nebraska ($4,300); Jaden Walley, Mississippi State ($3,500)

College Football DFS Game Stack Options

You know which team stacks are often good, but this isn't baseball. Game stacks can and do work. I prefer more team stacks on this slate, but there is some goodness in one of these games for sure. Which one is it?

North Carolina at Duke

Whenever you have a defense-optional team like North Carolina that is potent on offense as well, you have the potential for a lot of points. Most of the pieces of this stack are affordable too, which helps a lot in roster construction. You can get both quarterbacks for just $12,400. I won't be messing with Duke's running back situation, but if Jordan Waters ends up playing, I'll consider him. My favorite Tarheels back is also minimum price. Caleb Hood led the team in carries last week. Downs and Calhoun are must-plays at wide receiver. Beyond that, it's a crapshoot in the WR room for both teams.

Honorable Mention: Memphis at East Carolina
