DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily Fantasy College Football (10/30/21 Primetime)

Mike Marteny's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the prime time slate on 10/30/21. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win big.

We have another eight games for our Saturday prime time college football slate on DraftKings. There are some big ones on here. We start off in the SEC with Kentucky heading to StarkVegas and Auburn hosting Ole Miss. Cal welcomes in the Beavers. Oklahoma State is going to take out their frustrations on Kansas at home. SMU heads down to Houston for an old SWC tilt.

A half-hour later, the rest of the action starts. North Carolina state hosting Louisville and their one-man gang. North Carolina tests their luck against the Irish in South Bend. We finish it off with Penn State heading into the 'Shoe. Good luck with that, but it might be fun for DFS!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup primetime picks for DraftKings on 10/30/21, locking at 7 pm eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Quarterbacks

Sam Howell, North Carolina ($8,300)

I wont be reaching for an expensive quarterback tonight. I understand the ramifications of fading Corral, but the Auburn defense is good. Same with Penn State. The defense isn't the problem. Notre Dame's defense has been mostly solid, but USC nearly threw for 300 on them last week. Howell's discount because of the good numbers that the Notre Dame D has is a gift. His dual threat ability gives him a higher floor than most. He wont have a ceiling game against the Irish, but there are hordes of quarterbacks with bad matchups on this slate. Howell is one of the safest options.

Tanner Mordecai, SMU ($8,100)

Houston's defense has been a strong unit, but their stats are padded by playing Rice (before they changed quarterbacks), Grambling, and Navy. The last three opponents have cleared 200 passing yards with relative ease and they have allowed seven passing touchdowns in those three games. Again, this wont be a ceiling game for Mordecai, but SMU sure does love to throw the football and they are somehow still packed with NFL talent at receiver. Howell gets the nod because of his rushing ability, but Mordecai might have a bit higher ceiling.

Will Rogers, Mississippi State ($6,900)

Sometimes sheer volume is still worth a lot in DFS circles. North Carolina State was the only team to hold Rogers under 300 passing yards and they only did it by six yards. He's getting that 300-yard bonus and Rogers has drastically cut the interceptions from last year. This Kentucky defense is good, but when we can get a 300-yard passer for this price, he's at least worth a look.

Also consider: Matt Corral, Mississippi ($9,500); Malik Cunningham, Louisville ($7,700); Bo Nix, Auburn ($7,000); Spencer Sanders, Oklahoma State ($6,600)

DraftKings CFB DFS Running Backs

TreVeyon Henderson, Ohio State ($8,000)

The Illini ran for a staggering 357 yards on Penn State last week. Don't blame it on the overtimes. Seven of those were from the two-yard line. This was Penn State getting pushed around. Ohio State has roughly 5x the number of pro prospects on their line as Illinois does and don't even get me started on the backs. The last time Ohio State really needed Henderson in Week 3 against Tulsa – the Buckeyes have won the four games since by an average of 47 points – he carried 24 times for 277 yards. If this game stays close, Henderson could break the slate. If you're thinking blowout, Miyan Williams might be the better play at a much lower price.

B.J. Baylor, Oregon State ($6,700)

Baylor has four consecutive games of more than 100 rushing yards, but the re-emergence of South Carolina transfer Deshaun Fenwick is a bit of a concern. Still, Baylor continues to get tough yards against tough opponents. Baylor has double-digit DraftKings points in every game this season and hasn't been under 20 since Week 3 against FCS Idaho. He's one of the more reliable options you'll find tonight.

Jo'quavious Marks, Mississippi State ($5,300)

Dude gets a lot of free points in a Mike Leach offense. Marks already has 49 receptions on the season. Only 15 receivers have topped that mark this year! Marks only has double-digit carries in two games this year, but since he's picking up all of those free points with receptions, he's cheap for the floor he provides. Other backs have higher upside in some game scripts, but Marks is a cash game staple for the receptions alone.

Jerrion Ealy, Mississippi ($4,100)

Ealy is too cheap even against a defense like Auburn. Snoop Conner has carved out a larger role for himself, but Ealy still gets more carries than your average backup. There is risk involved here, but Ole Miss split the carries almost down the middle against LSU last week. Expect that to be the case here as well. Ealy is a fraction of Conner's price.

Also consider: Jaylen Warren, Oklahoma State ($7,400); Alton McCaskill, Houston ($6,800); Tre Siggers, SMU ($5,100); Devin Neal, Kansas ($4,000)

DraftKings CFB DFS Wide Receivers

Josh Downs, North Carolina ($8,800)

Downs has at least eight receptions in every game this season. He has also scored at least one touchdown in every game. Not counting yardage, that's 14 DraftKings points per game. That's the kind of floor I want when paying top dollar for a receiver. Only Drake London is a safer option anywhere in college football.

Danny Gray, SMU ($6,600)

If you're willing to use Tanner Mordecai, you need at least one of his receivers. Just like Mordecai's former team, SMU likes to spread the ball around to many different receivers. However, Gray leads the Mustangs in receptions (38), yards (609), yards per reception (16.0), and touchdowns (7). If you can afford him, Gray is the one you want. If not, Rashee Rice is a very nice consolation prize.

Thayer Thomas, North Carolina State ($5,800)

Opposing teams have locked up Emeka Emezie this year. That has allowed Thomas to emerge as the leading receiver for the Wolfpack. Thomas has scored in five of the seven games this year and has piled up51.4 DraftKings points over the last two games. Both Miami and Boston College made the Wolfpack throw to beat them. I'm guessing that Louisville will try to do the same, which is nice for us DFS players.

Josh Ali, Kentucky ($4,500)

Ali is going to take some of the thunder away from Robinson, but he's also $1,800 cheaper. Mike Stoops confirmed that Ali will return this week and not a moment too soon for the Wildcats. At this price, we really only need Ali to get loose once. He's one of my favorite GPP plays on the entire slate.

Jaden Walley, Mississippi State ($4,100)

Walley has double-digit DraftKings points in three straight games despite only scoring in one of those games. Like most Mississippi State skill players, Walley's value lies in his outstanding floor due to sheer volume. However, DraftKings missed the bus on pricing here. Walley has 14 receptions for 153 yards and a touchdown over the last three games. Enjoy the price break!

Also consider: Dontario Drummond, Mississippi ($7,300); Makai Polk, Mississippi State ($6,700); Wan'Dale Robinson, Kentucky ($6,300); Parker Washington, Penn State ($5,000); Jordan Watkins, Louisville ($4,300)
