BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 44% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The disrespect Amari Cooper is getting is unreal. The respect Donovan Peoples-Jones hasn't earned is nonsensical. What's with the Browns, folks? Why you so mad at them? Cooper is putting up numbers weekly and DPJ is not quite at his level yet but surely making the most out of the chances he's getting.
Cooper might have four games of 100+ yards and 1+ TD in the same game, but Peoples-Jones has reached 50+ yards in each of his past seven games and topped 60 in six consecutive matchups. Starting in Week 5, he's gone from 9.0 to 11.6, 11.1, 12.1, 14.9, and 17.1 this past Sunday. He's improving his fantasy outcomes nearly every week he steps into a football field!
Peoples-Jones scored his first touchdown of the season last Sunday against the Bills. Yes, it took him 10 games, but he finally got there. And it's not that he really needed that type of bonus to boost an already-good series of outcomes. Of course, DPJ can't be considered a weekly WR2 – let alone a WR1 – without that TD-scoring upside, but he's been a solid WR3/Flex for weeks on end now and that should remain the same.
Adding wood to DJP's fire is the fact that Cleveland is only two weeks away from welcoming QB Deshaun Watson back right in time for the fantasy playoffs. Don't hesitate and add Peoples-Jones to your team if you can still find him sitting in your league's WW. You're getting 4+ receptions and 60+ yards weekly, guaranteed.
