De'Von Achane's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 16 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit De'Von Achane for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end RB2
ANALYSIS: Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane was limited last week due to a toe injury, as he had nine carries for 32 yards and three catches for 30 yards. Raheem Mostert ended up with 15 carries in the game, though he wasn't particularly effective, gaining just 42 yards.

The rookie is a very good player, which he showcased earlier in the year when he ran for 203 yards against the Broncos and then followed it up with two more 100-yard games in a row. However, since returning from injury, he has double-digit carries in just one of his four games.
Achane rates as a low-end RB2, though that could change if Mostert, who has missed practice this week with knee and ankle issues, ends up missing this week's game against the Dallas Cowboys. As of now, fantasy managers should assume that Mostert will play, limiting Achane's upside. He definitely could wind up breaking off a big play that will give him a strong fantasy line, but he's unlikely to see significant volume in this game. It also doesn't help that Achane faces a strong Cowboys defense.
