BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 4% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: DeSean Jackson definitely didn't have a great start to the 2021 season, and it can even be said that his whole Rams tenure was a rather forgettable one this year. LA has played staggering football this season, but other than in Week 3 D-Jax never took on any sort of headline-grabbing role nor put up any monster performance. That 5-3-120-1 outing was surely sublime but other than that Jackson went on to average a measly 2.5 PPR points per game in his other six matches with the Rams. Ugh.
Now a Raider balling in Las Vegas, it's not that DeSean's usage nor production has changed that much. Yes, there's been a slight uptick in snap share (from 22% in LA to 33% in LV), but he's been bad in his first two games as a Raider and then excellent in his third one on Thanksgiving Thursday. The boom/bust coin flip benefit Jackson this time, and he put up 19.2 PPR points against Dallas to the tune of a 4-target, 3-reception, 102-yard, 1-TD game.
That's pretty much Jackson for you, an all-or-nothing proposition that can either get one target and 5 yards or a couple of looks for 100+ and a score. Jackson is the prototypical deep-threat with upside for an explosion but a near-zero floor, so keep that in mind when you assess your WW options. Good flier to take in deep formats if you're looking for a guy with chances of hitting paydirt on a booming day, though those games will obviously not come his way every weekend.
